Rules and Conditions:
- Entries are confined to Irish Draught Colt Foals, the progeny of a Class 1 (RID) Irish Draught Mare & by a class 1 (RID) Irish Draught Stallion.
- Dam's passports must be produced at qualifying shows and at the final.
Foals passports must be produced at the final.
- Foals must be led at all times.
- One foal from selected shows may qualify for final if the judges and the ISA agree the standard is high enough.
- Foals qualified for Final are not eligible to enter any other class at the Show.
- These rules should be read in conjunction with the General Irish Shows Association Rules.
Entry Fee: To Qualifying Show €10, To Final €20
Prizes: 1st €500 &Trophy; 2nd €200; 3rd €100; 4th €100; 5th €50; 6th €50. A prize will be presented for combination of best turned out foal and most suitably dressed handler.
Final: Ballinasloe Show – Saturday, 1st October 2011.

- Each mare and her foal will be judged as a unit. (60% for the mare and 40% for the foal).
- Entries are confined to non-thoroughbred Broodmares registered in the Irish Horse Register main studbook with a foal at foot or by either (i) an Irish Horse Board approved (ii) a Stallion registered in Weatherby’s non-thoroughbred register.

Rules and Conditions
- 1. Entries are confined to foals registered in the I.H.R with the breedcode ISH or ID with the dam documented on the passport & must be sired by a stallion that is classified as ‘Approved, ‘Supplementary Approved’ or ‘Preliminary Approved’ in the Irish Sport Horse Studbook or a Stallion that is classified as ‘class 1’ / R.I.D’ in the Irish Draught Horse Studbook. The class is also open to the progeny of Weatherby's Thoroughbred Stallions that are not classified in the I.H.R”
- 2. The dam's passport must be shown at qualifying shows and at the final if the foals passport is not to hand.
- 3. One foal from selected shows may qualify for the final if the judges and the I.S.A. agree the standard is high enough.
- 4. Foals must be led at all times.
- 5. Exhibitors at the qualifier must present the dam’s passport for inspection prior to entry to the judging ring and at the final if the foal’s passport is not to hand. Failure to comply with this rule will lead to immediate disqualification.
- 6. Where a foal is produced by an embryo transfer method, the dam's passport must bear a declaration dated, stamped and signed by the stallion owner and accredited practitioner. Where AI is used, state the date on which the Dam was covered and the name of the stallion.
- 7. Foals qualified for Final are not eligible to enter any other class at Show.
- 8. These rules should be read in conjunction with the I.S.A. Rules.
Prizes: Champion: €600; 2nd €450, 3rd €300, 4th €200; 5th €150; 6th €100 & 7th – 10th €50 each. Vouchers will be presented to all other exhibitors who do not get prize money.
A prize will be presented for combination of Best Turned out Foal and Most Suitably Dressed Handler
